Website Account Tools and Tips
The first step is creating an account if you do not have one already! Simply click the "Create an Account" link in the top right of any page, and follow the instructions by entering your name and email. You will be sent an email verification link that you will need to click to finish setting up your account details like username, password, company name and address. Once submitted, your account information will be reviewed and approved within a few business days. After your account is approved, you can sign-in using your selected username and password to access your account tools.
Once you are logged in on the TSI website, you will have access to your account profile and tools by using the My Account link on the top navigation bar:
Here you can view invoices and statements, track current shipments and backorders, see your purchase history and more.
Order Templates
Order templates are a great feature to use if you have a specific BOM or group of parts that your order regularly. Order templates allow you to save a list of items that can be directly added to a cart or quote with specified quantities, instead of having to search or browse for each individual item. You can also configure individual templates to allow for Quick Checkout. The Order Templates tool can be accessed under the Ordering Tools option on the top navigation bar, or from your account profile page.
Favorites
The Favorites tool acts similar to the Order Templates in that it allows you to build short lists of items, but the Favorites feature goes further in allowing you to create custom categories of favorited items that can be shared with other users from your company. This is a great way to organize items frequently used by your company. The Favorites tool displays a detailed view of favorited items, along with your specific pricing and available stock.
Using the Order Uploader
Another featured tool on our website is the Order Uploader, which allows you to quickly add a list of items to a cart. This tool is helpful if you build BOMs outside of our website, like in Excel or a text editor. The Order Uploader allows you to submit an Excel file or copy-paste a text list of items and quantities to be quickly added to a cart. Punchouts
Did you know our website supports cXML punchouts? This is a great way to directly access our website from your procurement software. Our punchout module allows you to build a cart with your account specific pricing and punchout the cart straight into your platform. Please talk to your Automation Specialist or account manager if you are interested in setting up a punchout connection.
