Our offering combines software, engineering services and best-in-class motion components for a superior, single-source solution. TSI employs three engineers available to assist with application engineering, system sizing, component specification, and machine design backed over 60 years of motion control design and development expertise from Kollmorgen factory engineers. Kollmorgen holds nearly 100 motion-related patents ranging from stepper motors to servo motion controllers. This means we can help your next machine to be sleeker, quieter and more efficient than your prior machine; and better than your competitors.
Please contact our engineering staff directly to get us started working on your application. See below for contact information.
Whether you are looking for classic servo motors, direct drive servo motors, stepper motors, drives & amplifiers, gearheads, actuators or CNC & multi-axis motion controllers; Kollmorgen is one of the few companies in the world whom actually design and manufacture all of these products.
Partnering with TSI and Kollmorgen makes us the source for Motion control.
When you have an automation or manufacturing problem our team can help you find the solution. We will analyze the issue and help devise an economical, efficient and practical solution. Our high quality has earned the trust with innovators and businesses.
We challenge you to put our team to the test!
David has been with TSI nearly 10 years and during that time has gained an amazing amount of knowledge about our electrical products. David is a native of Norcross, Georgia, he's a big music fan and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. David is quiet, easy going, hardworking and detail oriented. He is a tremendous resource to our inside and outside sales staffs and to our customers, especially in the area of machine intelligence: I/O networks, field-bus technology, vision systems, sensors and HMI programming. He also recently earned his certification in Kollmorgen's Automation Suite (KAS) motion control software.
Matt Martin is a self-described "MacGyver" engineer. He loves to devise solutions to challenging mechanical problems using "out-of-the-box" thinking. Matt came to TSI in 2013 after receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He specializes in designing structures made from T-Slot aluminum extrusion, but he also assists with designing automated lubrication systems.
What he most likes about working at TSI is the vast range of projects he gets to be involved with. When he's not at work, Matt enjoys tinkering in the garage, wood working, and shooting sporting clays.
Devran has worked as an applications engineer at TSI since graduating from Georgia Southern University with his M.S. in Engineering Management in 2013. His specialty is mechanical engineering but he has been deeply involved with fluid power, motion control and mechatronics since we took on the Festo line in 2014. Devran has completed several design projects during his tenure with TSI, including an air-over-hydraulic lift table for an aluminum extruder, an automated stacker for a corrugate manufacturer, and end-of-arm robot tooling for a wheel manufacturer. Outside of work Devran likes to tinker with electronics and is currently in the process of building a CNC router.
