June is National
Safety Month

In case you hadn't heard, this year's National Safety Month is focused on four main concerns:

  • Prevention of falls
  • Better sleep habits
  • Preparation for active shooters
  • Ergonomics

June is Nat'l Safety Month

While none of our products or services address any of these categories, we are very much involved in machine safety and guarding.

Several of TSI's manufacturers offer excellent safety products, including light curtains, safety controllers, interlocks, safety mats, hard guarding, and pressure relief valves.

Do you have a safety project you're working on?  If so, please call me.  I would welcome the opportunity to put my safety training and our safety products to work for you.

Best regards,
John Post, Jr.

24V Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)

with Integrated Battery

Puls UPS

UPS applications are becoming more popular as power problems increase and the cost of down time becomes more expensive. With more and more control panels switching to DC, design engineers are moving the backup from the AC side to the DC side. Traditional 24VDC UPS systems utilize two 12V batteries in series which provides the power needed when the AC fails.

PULS Power Supplies recently released a single battery UPS which makes matching batteries unnecessary and allows for precise battery charging
and testing.

There are many advantages to the PULS DC-UPS:

  • Compact and easy to install
  • Easy battery access
  • Stable output voltage in buffer mode; no problems associated with voltage drops
  • Superior battery management for longest battery life; mismatched batteries are no longer a concern
  • Temperature compensated battery charging
  • Comprehensive diagnostics and monitoring functions
  • "Replace Battery" signal included
  • Electronic overload and short circuit protected
  • 50% Power Reserves

For more information on the "Single Battery Concept" for 24VDC UPS systems, download the PULS information sheet.
